He is a Colombian footballer. He plays as a defender and is currently a player for E.C. Bahia. Throughout his career, he has played for La Equidad, Sporting de Lisboa, PSV Eindhoven, Atlético de Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen, Granada, FC Cincinnati, and E.C. Bahia. He has been a full international player for the Colombian National Football Team since 2009.
